Protect Yourself from Fraud

Keeping yourself informed is the first step in combating fraud. Here are a few items to keep in mind. If at any time you think your confidential information has been compromised, please contact us at 800.711.BANK (2265).

Child Tax Credit Fraud

Any communication offering assistance to sign up for the Child Tax Credit or to speed up the monthly payments is likely a scam. When receiving unsolicited calls or messages, taxpayers should not provide personal information, click on links, or open attachments as this may lead to money loss, tax-related fraud, and identity theft.

Fraud by Phone

We will never call and ask you for personal information like your debit card PIN. Even if the call appears to be coming from our phone number, 1-800-711-2265, do not provide personal information. If someone calls asking for this information, just hang up.
